Green Circle Salons (GCS) is looking for an experienced Integrator / Chief Operating Officer / General Manager to help optimize and expand our operations globally. As the world's first, and leading sustainable salon solution, GCS is committed to “making beauty beautiful” by offering salons a turnkey waste reduction program, repurposing and recovering up to 95% of what was once treated simply as waste. From hair clippings being repurposed into bio-composite materials, to excess hair colour being diverted from our water supply, GCS not only offers a new industry standard in sustainable practice, but is the Thought Leader in this space . Established in 2010 in Toronto, and now operating across North America, GCS is on a mission to keep people and the planet beautiful.

The Integrator will be the company's second-in-command, reporting to the CEO. As a member of the leadership team, the Integrator will be responsible for guiding and mentoring departmental directors, driving results, maintaining accountability for performance in all departments (including the P&L results), and fostering a healthy and vibrant team. The Integrator will need to be able to put their “head in the clouds” to see the vision of the Visionary, but have their “feet on the ground” in bringing the vision to life.

The Integrator will collaborate with the Visionary / CEO as well as the Leadership Team to:

  • translate the vision of the company into SMART business strategies, plans, and procedures
  • oversee daily operations across departments with an eye to P&L and continuous improvement
  • attract and cultivate a strong team, leading by example with superior communication skills
  • manage relationships with partners / vendors, and assist in fundraising and expansion ventures
  • promote policies and demonstrate passion for the values and mission statement of GCS

The ideal candidate will have:

  • a minimum Bachelor's Degree in business or related field; an MBA is preferred
  • 4-5 years of previous experience as an Integrator / COO / Vice President, with an MBA and EOS experience
  • a demonstrated success record in translating strategic level vision to tactical level operations
  • experience in coordinating Operations, Finance, Sales, and Human Resources
  • ability to attract and retain a high-performing leadership team that shares in the company vision
  • a working knowledge of data analysis and performance / operation metrics
  • excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills with an execution mindset
  • experience in waste reduction facilities, environmental services, or has lead sustainability teams-a bonus
