JOB OVERVIEW

The Operations Manager will be responsible for all supply chain activities required to deliver finished goods to our accounts and distribution partners across Canada and the US. Your mandate is to scale-up and enhance our operations to increase on-time and accurate order fulfillment, improve product quality, and lower production and distribution costs. You will own all purchasing, co-packing and 3PL partnerships for the company and be the primary contact for customer order management. As the first and primary operations expert in our company, you will also play a key role in establishing the Operations team structure and model for accelerated growth.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage suppliers and make them better partners in our success 
  • Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain
  • Identify, develop and nurture supplier relationships to improve SLAs and/or cost structure
  • Track and manage inventory across partners and regions
  • Optimize inventory to meet customer demand
  • Collaborate with sales to create demand and supply plan
  • Own quality assurance, regulatory compliance and required certifications 
  • Create purchase orders / production orders / 3PL requests to meet sales demand and customer SLAs
  • Schedule and execute customer order fulfillment 
  • Capture customer and sales data in QuickBooks
  • Assist with Billing and Account Receivables

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Must have: 2 years of experience in order management, inventory management and logistics management
  • Ability to translate desired outcomes into concrete items and tasks for execution
