THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a well-rounded individual who will make sure we don’t skip a beat managing the day-to-day needs of our office. You may find yourself assisting with first impressions, helping with events or client meetings, running an occasional errand, stocking and organizing supplies, and surely, helping to ensure our clients and guests have a top-notch experience.
The person in this role will work closely with folks on the team engagement team, primarily in our Cleveland office, on a variety of important office management and administrative tasks. This person must be focused and nimble, as no two days in the office will likely look the same.
This position has a start date of June 1, 2020.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Working primarily with the Director, Team Engagement in our Cleveland office, this part-time position will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, such as:
- Serving as the face of the Global Prairie Cleveland office (answer phones, greet guests, sign for packages, etc.)
- Assisting with daily office maintenance tasks (dishes, mail, coffee, UPS, cleaning, organizing, meeting set-up/tear down, etc.)
- Coordinating building/maintenance repairs, as needed
- Assisting with researching, ordering, preparing gifts and promotional items for the Global Prairie team and our clients
- Ordering, restocking, and organizing office and kitchen supplies
- Running errands (breakfast or lunch pick-up, storage unit pick-up/drop off, office supplies, kitchen supplies, IT-related items, etc.), as needed
- Assisting with executing special events (milestone celebrations, holiday events, Global Prairie anniversary celebration, Giving Days, happy hours, etc.)
- Assisting with completion of monthly expense reports
- Data entry, preparing documents, proofreading, etc.
- Miscellaneous projects and tasks, as assigned

Additionally, the ideal candidate must meet these qualifications:
- Ideal candidate is someone looking for meaningful part-time work with experience in operations, administrative support and/or hospitality management
- This is an hourly position of 20 hours per week - starting June 1, 2020
- Strong time management skills and an ability to multitask; ability to follow-through on many matters with often little or no direct supervision
- Demonstrates discretion and confidentiality in all aspects of the job, inside and outside the office
- Tech savvy, experienced with iOS, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc.
- Team player with a strong ability to work well with individuals with diverse backgrounds
- Given a key function of this position is running an occasional or necessary errand, candidates must have reliable transportation
