As an advocate of social entrepreneurship, Visram is actively engaged as an investor and advisor to companies innovating for a brighter future. Visram serves on the board of Environmental Working Group (EWG), the Board of Overseers at Columbia Business School and Columbia College.

What we are looking for:
-A DTC business leader that can build and deploy our e-commerce and performance marketing strategy and scale our revenue growth.

-Experienced in building e-commerce strategies to drive digital sales and conversions on our website and external platforms (e.g. affiliate marketing/Amazon, among others), including day-to-day performance optimization to achieve goals and improve user experience, creating website traffic, conversion and ultimately sales.

- Solid expertise in creating activation campaigns across key digital touchpoints: search, social, affiliate, influencers, both organic and paid.

-A balanced mindset able to toggle between hard performance data & creative content that engages hearts and minds.

-Highly analytical and data-driven, able to zoom in on data, extract insights, iterate and adapt strategies and tactics to optimize growth.

-Highly attuned to the art of creating engaging brand campaigns, content, and activation strategies that bring the brand to life for an audience of discerning parents.

-A hawk-eye for quality of execution, both in data analysis and creative.

-Skilled at managing and interfacing with a lean internal team and nimble network of agencies and partners, with an emphasis on executing key components inhouse and scaling teams and processes to do so.

-Experienced in managing website platforms, Shopify backend management and e-commerce / DTC standard tools and integrations.

-Able to collaborate with and support the Founder and team in other brand activation efforts such as PR, events, affiliate marketing, and partnerships.

Who You Are:
- A smart, hands-on thinker and doer that can build a big-picture strategy that lives up to the company vision, while being able to get into the trenches of excellent execution.
- 5 years of performance marketing experience at an in-house marketing team or agency team, including both media strategy and direct execution of media buys across social, digital, search, affiliate, and offline channels.
- Relentless curiosity and critical thinking: able to adapt to a rapidly changing landscape, routinely seeking out ideas for new approaches within existing channels as well as new channels to test. We expect that you will build and leverage a group of peers and advisors to stay up on what's next.
- Creative instinct: guiding external agencies and the internal team to create assets and executions that are relevant to our audience, insightful, and effective.
- A bootstrapped, thrifty mindset to spending and investing, where optimizing performance and maximizing returns are a constant filter for savvy budget management.
- Deep experience with performance tracking and attribution, including the ability to build/refine models to effectively evaluate and optimize media investments.
- Exceptional quantitative skills and orientation toward data-driven decision making
- Aptitude for testing (channel, campaign, & creative) combined with demonstrated rigor around testing methodology, objective setting, and KPI tracking
- Strong collaborative skills and experience working with brand/creative teams to guide and optimize creative
- Self-disciplined and motivated in an unstructured environment that requires flexibility, creativity and humble hustle

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage site development and updates for the e-commerce side of the business, working with team members to generate content for each product and service offering. You keep a promotional calendar, track all e-commerce marketing efforts, analyze data, and use your findings to improve your strategies.
- Establish and consistently optimize monthly, quarterly, and annual media spend and testing plans to achieve paid and organic traffic, acquisition, and revenue metrics within budget
- Advise on experience of the website including site navigation, content development, checkout and promotional campaigns, including affiliate marketing and partnerships.
- Coordinate team members and multiple external agencies, ensuring proper structure and execution of campaigns to meet business objectives across channels
- Consistently optimize spend across existing channels 24/7, creating campaigns including A/B testing, and utilizing dashboards and real-time monitoring processes to do so.
- Constantly be uncovering, investigating, and testing new vs existing channels.
- Evaluation/management/selection of all agency partners for paid channels.
- Work closely with the creative resources to maintain pipeline of creative assets and communicate/refine best practices for each channel, format, and audience.
- Work effectively with product development to support product launches and inventory plans.
- In collaboration with the Product & Content teams, ensure congruent end-user experience across media, site, and post-visit communications
