Description

The Client Technology Assistant role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a small team with a distinct scope of work and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. The Managed Organizations Technology Team (MOTT) is collegial & collaborative and we strive to find the joy in our work and our connection with each other. Unique opportunities include client-facing work, mentorship from MOTT members, and building a deep knowledge of MO tech systems. Specific technical expertise and/or experience is not required; the role needs someone who strategically approaches work, is proactive in identifying and suggesting solutions, and desires to improve work and process flows.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Case Management for MO via Zendesk ticketing system
  • Respond to all level 1-3 requests (both internal and client facing issues)
  • Assign all other requests; ensure timely response to all requests
  • Elevate FAQs for broader solutions
  • Training administration
  • Training logistics: Sending out invite to project users, monitoring training sign up list, training credentials, delivering training materials & surveys
  • Technology Systems General Support
  • Audit current fields & previous fields: cleaning up historical data
  • Catalogue system changes
  • Payment Processing: recurring donor management, refund management
  • Concur Reporting: Project/Account team requests on total employee detail
  • Portal management: Password reset, permission check, project page setup
  • Tech procurement administration: Fulfilling preferred vendor purchases, answering process related questions, facilitating billing issues with account teams
  • Permissions administration: Updating user access in MNPO portals, updating user access in GSP/GRP, troubleshooting access via screenshare
  • Preferred Online Fundraising platform: Fielding project inquiries after they reviewed the preferred platform documentation, tax acknowledgement
  • Online Fundraising Reporting: Pulling monthly reconciliation reports & custom reports
  • Tech Support for Managed Nonprofit Organizations (MNPO) Executives: Document and troubleshoot tech issues for MNPO executive team
  • Other client project support
  • Support grants and contract management processes
  • Maintain project data in various technology systems
  • Track, code, and prepare incoming donations and outgoing payments
  • Gather documentation and manage data entry for new project staff

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

  • Associate’s Degree and two years work experience or Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit and resourcefulness in problem solving
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Outstanding organization and prioritization skills - ability to manage multiple demands, projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in using technology as a solution
  • Experience or interest in philanthropy, nonprofits, foundation operations and management

Arabella Advisors provides operations and management support to multiple nonprofit organizations, including the New Venture Fund, the Windward Fund, and the Hopewell Fund—all 501(c)(3) public charities—and the Sixteen Thirty Fund, a 501(c)(4). These managed organizations house new and innovative public interest projects and nonprofits, as well as coordinate collaborative initiatives between donors and administer grants programs.
