We have excellent products, industry leading science, and R&D that together with our sustainable and ethical sourcing make us totally unique in this industry. For this reason, we now have as customers some of the largest food-related brands in the US and world. But we are still small and nimble with very big ambitions and need some motivated and experienced team members to make that happen!

A little bit about the roles (Two positions available)

Our Sales Dynamos are the critical link between our great story, our products, and our distributors, customers, and end-users.

The roles require enthusiastic self-starters who have the ability to really “own” it and partner with key decision-makers across the industry to tell our story and convert the industry to a safer and more sustainable way.

The full-time positions based in beautiful South Lake Tahoe California require the ability to focus on ongoing goals and objectives while managing the details associated with day to day sales and overall business development.

There will be contact with prospects and customers via email, Zoom, social media, trade shows (when they come back), and potentially in person. The roles initially, at least for the first 6 months, will be head down contacting prospects from your desk - this way you get to know the business well and make some early sales!

We are a small team that really cares about what we do, and know that by helping our customers use the best products available (ours), they are saving money, reducing waste, and saving lives!

What will you do each day?
Business Development
As an Eagle Sales Dynamo, you will work with others on the team to define and contact prospects, tell them our story, and convert them to a better way! Not everyone wants to talk to the glove person so sometimes they can be a little indifferent - but once they hear our story they will love you and invite you to dinner. Well, probably not dinner - or even love… but they will like you a lot!

Analytics
Working with some of our clever Data Geniuses you will see what is working best for you and what is not by analyzing your success (and failures) and tweaking your approach, your language, and our story as it grows.

Account Management
Once you get customers on board you need to keep them in the loop and become their advocate within the company. Your job is to work for them to get the best deal and the best service possible. One of our roles is based around products, the other in support of a major distributor into the food processing sector.

Communication
This is a key part of the Sales Dynamo role. Communicating with customers as well as our awesome US and New Zealand based teams.

Tradeshows & Events
Sales Dynamos will attend national meetings, trade shows and trade/association conventions, etc. which may include travel out-of-state. You will always have support with you to start and we wouldn’t throw you to the lions until at least after your first 6 months. Trade shows are a great way to tell our story and you will love seeing the light come on in people’s eyes as you tell them how we can help them do business and keep safe a whole lot better!

Other Stuff
We like simple at Eagle - so ultimately to keep this short - your role is to make sales, make money, have fun, and make some new friends and save the world - one glove at a time!  Anything you can do to make that happen is good for us and good for you!

You will need most of these:
Strong selling skills - negotiation, presentation, and public speaking
Willingness to search out and cold contact prospects
Dependable diplomatic person, able to problem-solve successfully with a wide variety of people and issues
Interest in our products/brands and story - it helps you tell a good story
Proficient computer (We run on Apple) and data-mining skills (Hubspot, Slack, Excel, and Word)
Flexibility to successfully multitask in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude
Ability to manage time and deadlines
Put together sample packs and send them to prospects fast!
Ability to travel to set up and manage a trade show booth (when we can again!)
Demonstrate a few years of experience of successful selling - ideally in a food-related or allied industry
