We are looking for a digital media specialist to join our team as Director, Insight & Strategy at Global Prairie. We’re seeking a highly motivated professional who has proven success in planning, developing and implementing digital strategy, a specific expertise in social media, and is comfortable leading teams and managing client relationships.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS

As a senior member of the Client Partnership team at Global Prairie, this individual will be responsible for a variety of social media and integrated marketing tasks, such as:

  • Leading projects from kick off to completion as part of a high-functioning, multidisciplinary team
  • Serving as a trusted main point of contact for our clients, leading day-to-day communication and deliverables delivery
  • Leading the development of the overarching strategy from a social media and digital perspective as a part of the greater strategy
  • Overseeing the overall development of ongoing digital (and social media specific) campaign reporting and performance data, shaping strategic recommendations against campaign goals and objectives
  • Overseeing the development of new project proposals and estimates, in partnership with project management
  • Managing timelines and budgets in partnership with project management team, and overseeing client billing in partnership with finance team
  • Helping to identify new opportunities for business growth, including partnership with integrated teams to build new business proposals

Additionally, the ideal candidate must meet these qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Strategic Communications or similar preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in communications, journalism, digital marketing, consulting, or similar positions
  • Demonstration of success planning, managing and executing integrated marketing programs
  • Strong understanding of the latest trends and technical implementation techniques in social media marketing
  • Effective communication skills – long form written, informal spoken, and formal presentation style
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Familiarity with digital tools, including: monitoring (Brandwatch), influencer (Buzzsumo), social media management system (Hootsuite) and email marketing (Exact Target) a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK CONDITIONS

The physical activity required of this position includes standing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing, kneeling, reaching, stooping, talking, hearing and use of repetitive motion. Light work is required of this position, occasionally lifting or moving objects between 10-20 pounds. The visual acuity of this position requires the ability to operate a motor vehicle. This position will not be substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
