We are looking for a Director of Data Strategy to build and lead the data analytics offering at Global Prairie. This individual leads all things with data-driven insights and is continually thinking of ways data can transform each project in front of him/her. As a leader in the Data Science space, this individual will innovate the data analytics offering from the inside out.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS
As a senior member of the Insight & Strategy team at Global Prairie, this individual will be responsible for:
- Lead the development of the Data, Technology, and Analytics offerings at Global Prairie
- Drive and enhance the data analytics offering across Global Prairie through internal expertise, education, organic client growth opportunities, and new business
- Be the true visionary for data science offering at Global Prairie to drive business offering growth and integration into all Global Prairie services
- Leverage and grow existing proprietary data dashboard to enhance, grow and optimize data collection software
- Enhance data visualizations both within analytics software, as well as in client presentations
- Design and deliver cohesive Data Analytics selling strategy for current and new clients
- Identify new opportunities for business growth, including partnership with integrated teams to build new business proposals
- Lead as a data technology and strategy subject matter expert, building a team of data analysts and deepening relationships with clients as a trusted data resource
- Recommend the right data collection methodologies by project and generate insights based on collected data
- Drive quantitative research projects, including framework design, implementation, analysis, and overall team education
Additionally, the ideal candidate must meet these qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Strategic Communications or Data Science – quantitative emphasis preferred
- 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, consulting, and/or data science
- Industry experience in predictive modeling, data science, and analysis
- Strong understanding of the latest digital and data science trends and technical implementation techniques
- Excellent data-driven marketing knowledge and ability to interpret client technical requirements
- Experience in designing, developing and leading a team
- Preference for direct experience managing campaigns within regulated industries/verticals (i.e. healthcare, pharmaceuticals, federal government, etc.)
- Effective communication skills – long form written, informal spoken, and formal presentation style
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Experience with Google Marketing Platform (i.e. Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Data Studio, etc.)
- Familiarity with digital tools, including: monitoring (Brandwatch), influencer (Buzzsumo), social media management system (Hootsuite) and email marketing (Exact Target) a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK CONDITIONS
The physical activity required of this position includes standing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing, kneeling, reaching, stooping, talking, hearing and use of repetitive motion. Light work is required of this position, occasionally lifting or moving objects between 10-20 pounds. The visual acuity of this position requires the ability to operate a motor vehicle. This position will not be substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
