Description

Wetherby Asset Management is looking for a Human Resources Associate to join our growing team. Working closely with the Senior Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Associate will support Wetherby’s HR function in the areas of payroll, benefits, recruiting, learning and development, HR operations, and employee engagement.


YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Payroll - Assist with payroll administration, special pay calculations, data entry into Payroll & HRIS; Process requests for verifications of employment, unemployment and disability claims, and benefit audits
  • Benefits and Wellness – Provide employee education on various benefit offerings; Administer COBRA notices and enrollment actions; Reconcile benefits enrollment and address any issues; Assist with benefits and compliance reporting
  • Recruiting – Assist with recruiting coordination, sourcing, and screening
  • Development – Coordinate and implement employee education opportunities; Assist with administration of performance management program
  • HR Operations - Assist with onboarding, offboarding, background check processing, orientation preparation, and HR training; Provide employee support, answering questions about HR programs and policies; Ensure personnel documents are complete, in compliance, and timely filed
  • Recognition - Champion employee engagement and recognition activities, including assistance with development and implementation of related programs
  • Special projects and other tasks as assigned


MORE ABOUT YOU:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, and a minimum 2 years of related HR experience required
  • Have strong knowledge of HR-related laws and regulations
  • Have excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Committed to excellent customer service
  • Handle sensitive information and maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Display excellent organizational, communication and social skills, and take immediate ownership of your work
  • Possess a strong work ethic and are a standout colleague
  • Demonstrate proficiency of Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Have experience with Paylocity payroll and timekeeping products (a plus)
