We’re seeking an HR Generalist for our team to undertake a wide range of HR tasks, assisting with recruiting support, keeping us up to date with the ever-changing compliance landscape across multiple states, managing training and internal development initiatives and supporting company culture and diversity, equity and inclusion efforts across the company. You will use our HRIS to ensure all employee records are up-to-date. And you’ll also act as a point of contact for employees’ questions on HR-related topics.
Responsibilities
- Be a compliance guru - stay on top of Federal and Multi-State labor regulations (including California)
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
- Assist with employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics and resolve any issues that may arise
- Update and maintain HRIS data and employee files
- Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in HR
- Experience in a growing tech company is a plus
- Strong knowledge of employment/labor laws
- System-savvy (we use G-Suite, Zenefits, Small Improvements and Jira regularly)
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach
