WE ARE HIRING NOW FOR FULL-TIME BOOKKEEPING POSITIONS

This position allows for flexible hours, starting at about 30 hours per week with the opportunity to add more if desired.

Team members will manage our clients’ financial processes with their Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll systems.

We work closely with clients to manage their day-to-day business finances.

Candidates must be uber organized, detail oriented, able to juggle many responsibilities with various timelines, and skilled at working in multiple Chrome tabs at once.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with accounting software systems (e.g., Quickbooks, Freshbooks, Xero) and payroll software systems (e.g., ADP, Gusto)
• Strong computer skills including familiarity using multiple browsers, tabs, window navigations and instant messaging tools
• Keen problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet
• Ability to use positive language to drive a positive and satisfactory outcome
• Capable of maintaining a positive attitude even on a tough day
• Understand the importance of the client relationship and can help foster a healthy, collaborative environment with our client partners
• Professional demeanor with good conflict resolution skills and with the ability to raise concerns in a healthy manner
• Reliable yet flexible!
• You must have a dedicated and dependable work ethic and understand the importance of maintaining schedule commitments and planning ahead to ensure that coverage is maintained in case of absence.
• HigherRing strives to provide predictable schedules, but available hours are dependent on our clients’ needs and best business practices.
• Fluency in oral and written English, including excellent writing, grammar, spelling, math and accounting skills
• You must have a quiet, private, distraction-free workspace. 

IMPORTANT: Our systems require a direct ethernet cable connection and strong Internet bandwidth.

• You must have a minimum download speed of 10 Mbps, minimum upload speed of 3 Mbps, and a maximum ping of 50 from a reliable provider to run our platforms.

• To ensure the security of client data, team members may NOT use satellite, cell phone hot spots, public networks, or Wi-Fi connections.
• Depending on the team, VPN may not be allowed.
