We are looking for a Research Analyst to support our busy Toronto team. Our projects are varied, interesting and impactful. This role at GlobeScan presents the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Tasks will vary, ranging from assisting the research team on client reports and presentations, desk research and interpretation of quantitative and qualitative data, charting, data coding and proofing, to stakeholder mapping and database management.
About You…
We are looking for a team member with a solid grounding in research fundamentals and an inquisitive mindset. This role will suit someone with a strong interest in social and environmental issues and how business can be a positive force in society, though professional experience in this area is not essential. You are a highly effective communicator, energetic and organised.
Key requirements are:
- Completed university/college degree in a related field (such as social sciences, consumer psychology, sustainability/corporate responsibility, business, marketing, etc.)
- 1 to 2 years’ business experience ideally on social issues, brand and communications, or reputation
- Detail oriented and a commitment to quality
- Ability to analyze, interpret and communicate findings from data
- Clear and concise written communications
- A proactive team player but able to think and work independently
- Strong proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel
- Fluency in English is essential; fluency/good grasp of additional languages is a bonus
