Director, Italian Untours job in Media

Position: Coordinator, Italian Untours (Venice, Florence, Rome, Tuscany, Umbria, Amalfi Coast)

Our Italian Untours are spread throughout 6 regions, providing our clients (we call them “Untourists”) a wide array of unique experiences in the country. Italy is one of our most popular destinations and an incredibly important component of our overall business success.

This position will be primarily responsible for all aspects of the client experience for Italian Untours, from air transportation and hands-on customer service to program budgets. It will also involve supporting colleagues who serve other destinations. The work environment is laid back, and all staff work together to learn from each other as we go. Much of our work is detail-oriented, and our tasks and responsibilities change seasonally. We spend a lot of time interacting with clients by phone or email. We are a small and flexible staff, sharing high level and low level duties as needed. We are looking for someone who can jump in and help with multiple projects.

This position will involve occasional travel to Italy and potentially other global destinations.

This position entails:
• Trip sales and phone work
• Trip service work
  o Airline reservations
  o Apartment Reservations
  o Ordering car rentals
  o Coordinating trip logistics and details
• Client billing
• Communications with overseas staff
• Minimal financial planning/budgeting
• Customer service and processing
• Program development and research
• Occasional overseas travel
