About You:

We are currently seeking someone who is extremely well-organized and detail-oriented to join our team as a Seasonal Inventory Purchasing Administrator. This is the first of several openings, and this position is expected to last until January 2021.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for all our vendors while placing purchase orders, following up on tracking, invoices, and vendor confirmations.
  • Maintains accurate correspondence and records of vendor communications, including current vendor information regarding cost, availability, reorders, and general product information.
  • Arranges freight with our contracted carriers, including coordinating between the carriers and our vendors as needed.
  • General administrative duties and support, including special projects on an “as needed” basis for the purchasing team.

Bonus Experience:

  • Experience processing or managing Purchase Orders, and experience with freight arrangements or Freight Brokers.
  • Knowledge of Zendesk Ticketing System and JIRA.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Meticulous attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Excellent communication skills over the phone, through email and in person.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Track record for exceeding expectations and striving for excellence.
  • Ability to manage projects, multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box.
  • Comfort working with Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas, Data Entry, Vlookups and Pivot Tables.
