In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape a welcoming and professional member service culture to help members experience banking with purpose. Working collaboratively, you will provide meaningful recognition, hands-on coaching and ongoing development, to support the front line team. Your primary responsibilities involve scheduling and equipping staff to meet members’ needs through effective delivery of services, advice, and referral to branch partners. You will also be directly involved in membership opening, cash management, fulfilling complex or unusual transactions, and resolving member concerns escalated by the team.

What to bring

You have the desire to build deep relationships of trust to leverage and grow the talent of your staff, and you lead with compassion, integrity and stewardship. Placing importance on building community and connection, you are excited by the opportunities and challenges of leading in a strategically located urban branch with a diverse membership. Finally, you bring an active commitment to Kindred’s shared values and purpose.

Plus, you bring your qualifications and experience:

  • Post-secondary education, and
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial services
  • Proven skills in prioritizing competing demands and meeting deadlines
  • Strong coaching, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous supervisory experience is an asset
