Assistant Store Manager in Training job in Durham

Vert & Vogue is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Training to join our tight knit team in our distinctive boutique in downtown Durham.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Build sales with full outfitting and styling services
Deliver an exceptional experience by meeting customers' needs and surpassing their expectations
Be engaged, attentive, and reliable on our sales floor
Assist the Store Manager in daily and monthly operational duties
Maintain daily cleaning and organizational tasks to a high standard

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY

Experience in boutique retail, hospitality, or similar service environment within at least the past 2 years

Able to work Saturdays and throughout the winter holiday season (off Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Years Day)
Must be able to work on your feet and be able to lift 25 lbs

OTHER

If commuting by car - parking is available throughout downtown at public or private rates; reserved parking for employees is not available

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
$40k salary. During first 3 month trial period, schedule is Tues-Sat 10:30a-7p. Then shifting to Tues/Wed/Fri/Sat 10:30a-7p with a flex day on Thursday. Some peak times of year may require working a 5 day week on-site. Advance notice would be given when those cases arise.
