Description

Freeformers Holdings (trading as teamtogether) are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our tiny but growing team.

teamtogether, a B2B SaaS company, has worked in the organisational change sector for over 5 years with clients such as Tesco, Virgin Money and Her Majesty’s Government. teamtogether's newest SaaS product was developed through years of feedback, research and iteration that saw clients increase impact, engagement, and clarity around organisational change. teamtogether’s platform drives a scalable people-led approach that enables organisations to reshape the conversation around change and the future of the organisation. teamtogether makes it easy for anyone to create, deliver and track meaningful interactions with their teams at scale. Organisations in most sectors have used teamtogether to drive productivity, culture and change adoption. We are a profit and purpose business and a proud B Corp.

teamtogether has a suite of web, mobile app, and backend properties, and you will need to work on them all. We use a range of technology and are pragmatic about choosing the right tool for the job. Primarily though, we use:

Backend:

AWS - including Lambda for backend services
Python + Django (AWS Elastic Beanstack)
PostgreSQL (Amazon RDS)
GraphQL APIs in Django
Redis (AWS)
Mobile App:

React + React Native (w/Typescript)
Branch used for notifications
Console/platform

React-based
Built on top of the Core UI set of React libraries
Javascript (in the main)
Continuous Integrations

CircleCI
Github
Slack
The role:

As a full-stack developer, you'll be expected to be able to contribute to all of our products, and so you'll need to be technologically flexible and willing to learn and adapt. You will own the software engineering in the organisation. The team won't expect you to know everything there is to know from the get-go, but we do expect you to proactively search for solutions and answers.

Knowledge:

Relevant higher education or 18+ months in the industry
Preferable: experience or interest in UX/UI design
Skills:

Communication
Collaboration
Detail-oriented
Attitude:

Desire to learn: There is always a better way. We know that and you should too. You should be ok both getting and giving honest feedback. You are open to the opinions of others and constructively discuss solutions to find the best one.
Methodical: We are always refining our processes and determining how to codify and automate tasks to be smarter about product development.
A self-starter: As cliche as it is, you’ll need to take initiative and maintain motivation under pressure.
Curious: You're not afraid of asking questions and getting to the bottom of things.
About the culture:

It’s a fast-paced, all-hands-on-deck, startup environment. Our tiny (5 person) but mighty team works together closely to develop an excellent experience for customers and stakeholders. We genuinely enjoy working together and want to bring someone on board that will continue to add to that dynamic. We tend to work 2 days a week out of an office near Marble Arch/Bond Street/Edgware Road/Baker Street.

We particularly invite applications from candidates from backgrounds that are typically underrepresented in the start-up world. We are committed to building a team that pulls its strength from our diversity.

How to apply:

Please submit a CV and 1-2 paragraph on why you are applying and how you are suited for the role.
