Description

TriLinc Global, LLC, a growing Investment Management Company in Manhattan Beach, CA, is looking for an exceptional Financial Analyst to join the Finance Team. Under the direction of the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for complex financial modeling and analysis for the company, to ensure that the Executive Management Team and the Investment Team have the financial information needed to manage enterprise risk and make real-time decisions about the company’s cash and capital needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Utilize information from the Investment and Finance Teams to develop, maintain and own complex financial models (for all funds and their subsidiaries).
  • Provide meaningful analysis of operational and financial data to identify trends and drivers; summarize conclusions and implications of analysis.
  • Execution of day-to-day financial planning and reporting activities, including executive management reporting, profitability assessment, sensitivity analysis, scenarios and P&L reforecasting.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with corporate finance and investment colleagues to foster an effective cross functional working environment and collaborative spirit.
  • Assist Director of FP&A & the Finance Team in the preparation of an annual operating budget, long-term financial projections, and Board of Director packages.
  • Execute ad-hoc analytical requests.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting
  • Previous internship experience or 1-3 years job experience in an investment or finance function, ideally within investment banking, PE or VC, consultancy, accounting firm, investment management or with a major corporation.
  • Superior Excel skills, ability to manipulate large amounts of data and turn it into meaningful analyses.
  • Solid knowledge of financial statements, corporate finance and accounting principles required.
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy. High level of organizational skills to ensure job quality and timeliness.
  • Self-starter who will anticipate challenges and work proactively to resolve issues.
  • Comfortable working within an entrepreneurial, “roll-up your sleeves” environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player with a customer service mentality.
