Description

In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the strategic direction of a mix of corporate and NGO clients, as well as contribute to GlobeScan’s ongoing research and thought leadership. In this role you will be responsible for managing projects for some of our key client accounts, running stakeholder research programmes, developing new business relationships, and be involved in the full range of our research and advisory work across the globe to drive the sustainability agenda.

Key Requirements:

  • 4+ years of previous work experience either in a research or consulting role or in-house sustainability position
  • A Master’s University level degree in related field
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the sustainability landscape including latest sustainability-related regulations and standards experience in how sustainability drives reputation, what constitutes strong corporate purpose and how to communicate and engage on sustainability issues to a wide variety of audiences – specific knowledge of APAC markets is a plus
  • Track record of successful project management with strong attention to detail, including oversight of the deliverable schedule and budget
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and communicate research findings
  • Experience developing questionnaires and discussion guides specific to client needs, together with working closely with analysts to develop reports and present data
  • Proven track record of client service and developing new business opportunities, including working on proposals
  • Excellent written and verbal communications in English
  • Mandarin or Cantonese language capability is an asset; additional Asian language capability is a bonus
  • Strong values of ethics and integrity and a commitment to the sustainable development agenda
  • Solid skills in MS PowerPoint and Excel; capability in other analytic/ visualization tools a plus

About You

We are looking for a team member with solid skills in quantitative and qualitative research, who has the initiative and confidence to drive projects forward, and who has the consulting mindset for coming up with evidence-led strategies and solutions for clients.

This role will suit someone with a strong interest in social and environmental issues and how business can be a positive force in society, though professional experience in this area is not essential.
