Description

Are you looking to use your skills for good? Ellevate Network is the leading community for professional women committed to helping each other succeed. This is a rare opportunity to gain broad experience at a tight-knit growing company that's passionate about social change.

We are looking for a full-time Program Manager to join our team. We strongly value diverse perspectives and care deeply about building a positive work environment; each of our small teams operates with a high level of flexibility, autonomy, and ownership for our path forward.

As a Program Manager, you will be on the front-line, supporting our global community of professional women. You will be responsible for growing and scaling our Entrepreneur Roundtable (and one additional Roundtable), promoting customer adoption, engagement, and renewals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with speakers to create a compelling, consistent program calendar for Entrepreneurs in our community
  • Crafting communications to members, encouraging participation across Ellevate’s entire offering of events - Weekly Roundtables, Monthly Chapter Meetups, Holding Space Forums
  • Attending and managing weekly Roundtables, engaging with our members, and sharing their stories with the rest of our team and with other customers
  • Researching and deepening our understanding of the ideal customer with our chapter, engineering, enterprise, and marketing teams
  • Contributing to operations for Ellevate Squads - a 12-week leadership development experience (twice a year)

We’re looking for someone passionate about creating change in the world of business. You’re right for the position if you’re a problem-solver, a self-starter, collaborative, organized, and have strong communication skills. Experience collaborating with a product team is a must.

What to expect in this role:

  • You’ll join a small, collaborative, tight-knit B Corp with a big mission: equality for all.
  • You’ll have a high level of responsibility and ownership over impactful projects.
  • You'll have direct access to our leadership team, with open lines of communication to discuss the role you play in our growing business.
  • You’ll receive competitive benefits, like flexible work hours and locations, unlimited vacation time, 401(k) matching, generous parental leave, time off to volunteer, a wellness stipend, and more.
  • You'll receive full access to Ellevate Network’s resources, speakers, events, and content.

Why this role right now?

Ellevate offers members a personalized program, tailored to a member’s career and location. Within everyone’s program, there are different types of recurring experiences - on different topics, at different times, big and small - designed to fit any schedule.

We specifically focus on recurring experiences for Executives, Entrepreneurs, Managers, and Career Changers.

No matter where members are in their career journey or what their current goals are, our events are designed to help members get the support, advice, and clarity they need.

As a Program Manager joining our team, you will have the opportunity to grow and scale the member experience for Entrepreneurs in our community.

Entrepreneurs in our community can attend a weekly Roundtable - an hour long conversations to help members dive deep on a specific topic. Some recent topics we’ve covered at Entrepreneur Roundtables include:

Authentic Sales Conversations
Cultivating Customers
Your 2x Marketing Plan
In addition to weekly Roundtables, we offer workshops, a 12-week Squads cohort, monthly Chapter Meetups, and forums for several marginalized groups.

Chapter Meetups are local to a member’s location - so, someone in New York will be recommended events hosted by the New York Chapter.

Our forums for marginalized groups are called Holding Space. We currently offer a Holding Space Forum for Black women, LGBTQ+ women, and Seasoned Professionals.

Who will be successful in this role?

  • You're collaborative - able to work independently or on a team.
  • You're quick on your feet - you know when to be scrappy and when to invest and stop cutting corners.
  • You're an effective communicator with team members and external users.
  • You’re flexible, patient, and able to adapt to a changing environment.
  • You're persevering and excited to contribute to our mission.
  • You can present in an effective, actionable, and confident manner.
  • You can identify and communicate new opportunities, then translate your ideas into action
  • You strongly believe that diversity is an asset.
  • You consider yourself energetic, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic, with strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Experience or interest in entrepreneurship - interest in supporting aspiring entrepreneurs with accomplishing their goals
  • Experience in community management, program management, customer success, sales, or business development
  • An interest in learning and collaborating with multiple stakeholders, including Ellevate members
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Benefits of Working at Ellevate:

  • Flexible Work Hours & Locations. While we are based in Manhattan and plan to return to our office there after the pandemic, we will hire remotely for the right candidate.
  • We offer an innovative approach to work-life balance with our Flex Fridays program, with a companywide closure every other Friday to ensure our team has time to rest and recharge.
  • Unlimited Vacation Time.
  • Health, vision, and dental insurance.
  • Parental leave policy.
  • Retirement savings plan (401k).
  • Time off to volunteer.
  • Annual wellness reimbursement.
  • Access to Ellevate’s resources, speakers, events, and content.
