Description

This is a newly created position located on site at the corporate office in Lake Forest, CA. The Human Resource-Benefit-Payroll Specialist will be responsible for expanding all matters pertaining to Human Resources, benefits, company culture, and payroll. This position will work closely with the Chief Administrative Officer and ADP TotalSource, our PEO/Payroll partner. This position will perform all job duties with the highest levels of confidence and professionalism.

• Responsible for all matters pertaining to human resources, benefits, and employee engagement.
• Responsible to stay on top of new labor law and compliance regulations
• Enhance Company Culture (For-Profit, Mission Driven, B Corp)
• Analyze department needs and recommend staff hires/changes in workload
• Responsible for all aspects of recruiting and hiring
• Responsible for onboarding & training
• Responsible for employee engagement-includes regular check in with managers and staff
• Responsible for handling Leaves of Absence
• Responsible to promote career development/training
• Responsible for performance improvement plans (PIPs)/coaching/disciplinary action/terminations
• Responsible for all aspects of employee benefits to include annual review of benefits and assisting employees with questions/concerns
• Responsible for staff recognition program and staff events (holiday parties, picnics, etc.)
• Responsible for making sure all mandatory trainings occur for all staff (i.e. harassment, manager training, etc.)
• Responsible for Verifications of Employment (VOEs)
• Responsible for working with Marketing regarding social media posts to recognize new hires, staff anniversaries, inclusion, etc.

Required

• At least 3 years of experience in human resource/benefit/management at mid to senior level
• Experience with ADP TotalSource (PEO) preferred
• Experience, training, demonstrated knowledge of payroll processing/laws
• Willingness to travel to other offices as needed (minimal)
• Valid U.S. driver's license

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
Degree in Human Resources/Benefits Management or related certification programs (ie PHR, SHRM) and hands on experience.
