Description

We're looking for an "air traffic controller" who can take our growing company (HigherRing) to the next level. You'll be a leadership team partner, with key responsibilities involving our people, systems, business decisions and overall direction. We will be relying on YOUR experience and knowledge to grow our company and B Corp mission! This is a FT+ position.

HigherRing was an all-remote company before the pandemic, so our virtual workplace is strong!

If you’re a self-motivated analytical thinker who enjoys juggling multiple projects and priorities and solving problems, come put your skills to use on a fast-paced, energetic work-from-home team!

The essential qualities for this position include:

  • A passion for B Corps and mission-driven businesses
  • Experience in Operations and HR (preferably in a remote environment)
  • Technology and systems aptitude and experience, including troubleshooting systems and equipment issues AND systems evaluation and implementation experience
  • Experience scaling a startup and knowledge of systems and processes to effectively and efficiently handle our expected growth
  • UBER organized, with focus on efficiency and effectiveness
  • Attention to detail - from HR documentation to maintaining current policies, processes and related documentation, while also keeping an eye out for ways to optimize and expand (as we have the time/resources to do so)
  • Able to juggle, track and prioritize constant info and requests coming at you (i.e., fast decisions regarding whether to deal with it now or later - and having a system for how to ensure you DO deal with it later)
  • Excellent strategic thinking and decision-making and problem-solving skills while taking into account best business practices, finances, HR and staffing implications, and company goals
  • Ability to see big picture and recognize and address ripple effects (to documentation and systems) of decisions and pivots
  • Resourceful - able to recognize, research and investigate issues and potential solutions
  • EXCELLENT Memory (or strategies to compensate)
  • Able to respectfully manage/train/coach/direct others AND ability to gracefully receive and implement same
  • Experience with staffing, hiring, and scheduling
  • Able to drive projects and processes
  • Availability beyond basic business hours and likely more than 40 hours a week at times - especially as we scale and during busy seasons
