Position/Title: Vice President of Product & Marketing
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

The Vice President of Product & Marketing leads the organization’s Product, Brand Marketing, and Creative functions in the development and execution of cohesive strategies across all channels in order to achieve short- and long-term company goals.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Deeply understand Rumpl's consumers and their aspirations
- Effectively translate consumer motivators into new products and seasonal aesthetic directions
- Communicate product stories through integrated creative campaigns across all channels and touch points.
As the leader within the organization, the Vice President of Marketing and Product will play a key role in driving company culture through their results, energy, and attitude. An ideal candidate must possess a customer first mind-set, strong cross-functional collaboration skills, the ability to recruit and develop talent within the product department, and support the continuous evolution of creating the best product in the industry.
Managerial Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire Product, Brand Marketing, and Creative departments, and is responsible for their results.
- Oversee a team of 12 (current) brand marketing, creative, Go-to-market, and product staff; 4 direct reports.
- Mentors, trains, develops and energizes their team.
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains Coordinator through Director-level staff.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the departments and is responsible for outcomes.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations to direct reports.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- A representative of the Rumpl brand at the highest level, internally and externally.
