We are looking for a Research Analyst to support our busy Hong Kong team. Our projects are varied, interesting and impactful. This role at GlobeScan presents the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of activities.

Key Responsibilities:
A Research Analyst will be exposed to a wide breadth of tasks, ranging from assisting the project team on client reports and presentations, desk research and interpretation of quantitative and qualitative data, charting, data coding and proofing, stakeholder mapping, database management, industry benchmarking and more.

About You…
We are looking for a team member with a solid grounding in research fundamentals and an inquisitive mindset. This role will suit someone with a strong interest in social and environmental issues and how business can be a positive force in society, though professional experience in this area is not essential. You are a highly effective communicator, energetic and organised. On the job training will be provided regarding specific tasks but applicants should have a solid research background.

Key requirements are:

  • Completed university/college degree in a related field (such as social sciences, consumer psychology, sustainability/corporate responsibility, business, marketing, etc.)
  • 1 to 3 years’ business experience ideally on sustainability, social issues, brand and communications, or reputation
  • Experience with market research
  • Detail oriented and a commitment to quality
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and communicate findings from data
  • Clear and concise written communications; comfortable speaking in-person, via video conference and telephone
  • A proactive team player but able to think and work independently
  • Strong proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel
  • Fluency in English is essential; fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is a bonus
  • Must be eligible to work in Hong Kong
