We are currently seeking a full-time Media Supervisor with media planning and buying experience across digital and social, as well as traditional media including TV, radio, outdoor, and print. The right candidate will have a diverse perspective with strong interpersonal skills and will be an inventive, creative and enthusiastic problem solver who can work both collaboratively and independently.
This position provides the experience to work closely with our internal creative teams allowing strong integration of both media knowledge and creativity to solve our client’s challenges. When working for a small agency you have more exposure to clients and play a bigger role in evolving campaigns to match changing media behaviors and digital regulations. You will play a critical role in understanding the changing media landscape and guide internal and external partners on the best strategies and media opportunities to reach the client’s target audience and achieve business goals.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Direct client-facing with day-to-day interactions on status calls, providing media updates, and keeping all parties informed of campaign performance.
- Developing media plans based on a client brief, while working closely with both internal and external creative and account teams to align on strategy and creative message.
- Development of media strategy based on target audience and client’s marketing and campaign goals.
- Purchasing, trafficking, and set-up of all campaigns, utilizing multiple tools/self-serve platforms including Advantage, Google Campaign Manager, Facebook, etc.
- Building of campaign dashboards and reporting to clients on campaign performance on a regular basis.
- Creating and managing detailed budget summaries for all clients monthly.
- Optimizing campaigns based on performance against established KPI’s and marketing goals.
- Managing vendor relationships, including regular vendor meetings to stay up-to-date on current media opportunities.
- Work closely with our in-house broadcast buying team to execute TV and radio buys based on media plans developed.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly communicate across internal teams and clients.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience developing media plans across both digital and traditional media to meet clients' marketing goals.
- Ability to think strategically and critically, anticipating the output and goals of all projects.
- Detail-oriented and the ability to multi-task, being able to prioritize work and deadlines.
- Experience with digital platforms such as Google and Facebook.
- In-depth knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of the current media landscape with knowledge of the evolving consumer media consumption trends.
- A plus if you have experience working in Advantage.
- A plus if you have experience working on e-commerce media planning and buying.
