Part Time Psychologist – Auckland Clinic
The Triple P and Family Psychology Centre in Ellerslie Auckland is a team of dedicated clinicians and support staff passionate about working with families, parents and children of all ages to strengthen family relationships and improve their outcomes. As part of our continued growth, we have an opportunity for a permanent part time (flexible) Psychologist to join the team. This role will work in our clinic and within the community working at family homes, community groups and schools. The role will be a flexible part time permanent position for approximately 3 days per week.


The Role
Will work to deliver and continue to improve psychological services to parents, families and children.
Duties will include:
• Provision of specialist psychologist services with an emphasis on Parenting and child behaviour, in a clinic and community settings
• Undertake in-depth specialist parenting and child behaviour assessment and analysis for evidenced based interventions
• Offer therapy (CBT, ACT, Triple P) in relation to child emotional behavioural issues
• Provide counselling for parents involved in the Family Court
• Opportunity to be trained and develop into a Triple P Trainer to deliver training remotely (or in person in the future)

The Person
To be considered for the role you must possess:
• Registered Psychologist with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
• Masters level tertiary qualification and Postgraduate Degree/Diploma
• Comprehensive experience working with children and families
• Current driving license and own vehicle
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Complex problem solving ability
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Self motivated to achieve deadlines and objectives
• Psychological skills and practice
