Are you looking to use your skills to contribute to a social enterprise? Ellevate is the largest community for women+ at work. A powerful coalition of ambitious and supportive women+ who believe there is strength in numbers. We show up for each other, helping everyone — no matter their background or aspirations — build a career they love. And, more importantly, we mobilize our collective power to change the culture of business.

We’re looking for a Community Success Coordinator to join our team. You will have the opportunity to help our local chapter teams thrive, and ensure that they have the resources they need to succeed, and in turn, continue to grow our localized Ellevate communities around the world.

We’re looking for someone passionate about equality and fostering supportive, dynamic communities of professional women and their allies. Building relationships with a key stakeholder group, you’re tasked with maintaining Ellevate's brand consistency and company policies while encouraging regional style in order to deliver the very best experience for our local teams of ambassadors. You're right for the position if you’re a problem-solving, self-starting people person who is detail oriented, and has strong written, communication, and relationship building skills. Experience in volunteer management, web-based collaborative platforms (Sharepoint), and document and procedure writing preferred.

This is a rare opportunity to gain broad experience at a tight-knit, mission-driven B Corp that's passionate about social change. You're right for the position if you're both collaborative and independent, and eager to apply your technical skills and experience to finding the right solutions for our community of women+.

What are you looking for in your next role?

  • Join a small, collaborative, tight-knit B Corp with a big mission: equality for all.
  • You'll have direct access to our leadership team with open lines of communication to discuss the role you play in our growing business.
  • We offer competitive benefits: flexible work hours and locations, unlimited vacation time, 401(k) matching, generous parental leave, time off for activism/volunteering, wellness stipend, and more.
  • You'll receive full access to Ellevate Network’s resources, speakers, events, and content.
  • You’ll work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Will encourage growth and retention via high-touch, nuanced customer service and outreach in local chapters
  • Will foster trust and open communication between chapters + headquarters through authentic relationship building
  • Will increase engagement with and uptake of company policy and operations among chapter leaders
  • Takes pride in pristine document design, formatting, and grammar
  • Has a passion for processes and the creation and transfer of information
  • Will manage all written chapter resources, training, and instructional content and execution
  • Loves efficiency and seeks out areas to improve
  • Will support and develop ideas from local teams across the business areas of policy, operations, recruitment and succession.
  • Will play a role in defining and steering strategic business directions pertaining to chapters

We'd love to hire someone with some of these skills:

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Solid administrative skills, detail oriented
  • Patient and professional demeanor, positive attitude
  • A sense of urgency and excellent time management skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing environment and different tasks
  • Solution-oriented creative thinking
  • High emotional intelligence; focus on empathy and influence
  • Prior experience in customer service, relationship management, or volunteer management preferred
  • Familiarity with ticketing software such as Freshdesk preferred
  • Familiarity with data reporting software such as Magento preferred
  • Familiarity with web-based collaborative platform software such as Sharepoint

Who will be successful in this role?

  • You're collaborative and proactive: able to work independently or in a team.
  • You're quick on your feet - you know when to be scrappy and when to invest and not cut corners.
  • You can effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • You're flexible, empathetic, and patient with both team members and stakeholders.
  • You're self-motivated, perseverant and excited to contribute to our mission of equality
