Community Engagement Consultant – Flexible hours - Triple P America

Triple P – Positive Parenting Program is one of the world’s most effective parenting programs, designed to give parents the skills they need to raise confident, healthy children and teenagers and to strengthen family relationships. The program is active in over 30 countries and has offices in 9 countries. As part of our continued growth, we are currently seeking a Community Engagement/Implementation Consultant to provide support to organizations and communities who are implementing Triple P in the U.S. Full time applications will be considered. The role will be remote (our US Office is based in Columbia, South Carolina) with a working from home set up provided and a supportive team used to work remotely.
The Role
Working as part of a supportive team; the role will provide support and guidance to Triple P’s implementing organizations. Duties will include:
• Engagement and information sharing with organizations interested in implementing Triple P
• Collaborating with interested organizations to understand community needs and develop plans for Triple implementation, with a focus on inclusivity, staying true to our motto of “For Every Parent”
• Support the development of training and accreditation plans as well as evaluation processes
• Support organizations and communities as they implement and deliver Triple P
• Assist organizations to use the Triple P Implementation Framework and make necessary changes and adaptions
• Working alongside our public affairs team to assist in awareness raising, influencing policy decisions and scaling of Triple P
• Preparing and delivering webinars and technical assistance in relation to the program and supporting the Triple P practitioner base
• Involvement with supporting cross-sector work and learning networks
The Person
Recommended skills to perform the role are:
• Postgraduate level degree in public or human services (psychology, public health, health education, social work, social and behavioral sciences)
• Experience in human services program planning and delivery
• Experience with Triple P as a practitioner, researcher or local coordinator (preferred)
• Superior communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently, a motivated self-starter
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Able to provide flexible, adaptive leadership with clients
• Open to giving and receiving constructive feedback
• Demonstrating cultural humility, comfortable not knowing while willing to learn
• Effective time management, and organizational skills, effectively managing priorities

• Project management skills or experience
• Comfortable with technology including presenting on various video conferencing platforms
• Ability to travel within the U.S.
• Ability to work remotely
• Ability to work remotely
