This position reports to: Director, Product Management & Customer Implementations

The travel operations analyst works within the product management team to analyze and document systems and processes, outline business requirements and find successful and efficient business solutions. Some common responsibilities for the travel operations analyst include performing user acceptance testing, preparing system requirements, providing clarification on requirements, advising development and testing teams and contributing to the product roadmap.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Perform research analysis, problem definitions and clarifications, and business translation support for internal teams including product and program management, front office operations, and development team
Work closely with program managers to convert business requirements into agile epics and stories
Prepare backlog and participate in meetings to elaborate, define accurate acceptance, prioritize, size and schedule stories into sprints
Assist in the design and execution of testing scenarios and user acceptance testing
Compile, define, translate and document business and functional requirements for development team
Work closely with development team to record changes to stories and subtasks as they evolve during sprints
Create workflow diagrams to document process
Work with business process owners, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders on data discovery, personal data inventory and data mapping
Coordinate and support special projects as needed

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's Degree
2-5 years as an analyst or related field
Agile development methodology experience (preferred)
Travel industry experience (preferred)
PC Skills:

Experience with agile development work management tools
Atlassian tool suite preferred; (Jira and Confluence)
Knowledge of TrustArc workflow documentation for Compliance, Data Protection, or similar (preferred)
Language Skills:
Ability, to communicate in standard business English both written and spoken. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group situations to customer, clients and other employees of the organization.

Travel (for positions requiring travel):
