Description

As the IT Systems and Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for all team members seeking technical assistance in-person at our factory and virtually for other support. Top tier internal “customer service” excites you! You’ll perform standard troubleshooting and determine solutions based on the issue and detail provided by our team members. You’ll be able to direct unresolved issues to the appropriate channel, follow-up and update all ticket status with appropriate information, maintain accurate inventory and be a pioneer as we build out our IT department.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing technical support for the company over the phone and in-person
  • Responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining computer hardware, software, systems, networks, phones, and printers
  • Responsible for PC configuration and imaging
  • Responsible for network troubleshooting, updates and enhancements
  • Responsible for supporting numerous third party applications (ie: Oracle, Tulip, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Notion)
  • Responsible for communication and collaboration with appropriate service providers and vendors
  • Supports in maintaining and monitoring systems, networks, and overall security
  • Supports multiple teams towards the completion of projects and implementation of new systems such as onboarding and shop floor technical support
  • Recommends solutions across the company including best practices and improvements
  • Provides documentation and testing for IT processes
 

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field is desired (or equivalent experience)
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in IT support customer service or help desk
  • A strong logical thought process and an ability for problem-solving
  • An ability to prioritize tasks, communicate effectively, and meet strict deadlines
  • Experience providing support in Windows environments
  • Experience and a strong understanding of Office 365
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus
  • Experience with network administration and management
  • A strong attention to detail
