Junior National Account Manager, Greenford, London, supporting the growth and management of the Multiple Retail channel, whilst ensuring that both the customer needs and internal business and operational needs are met. Reporting to the National Account Manager.

The Role:
In this full-time role as Junior National Account Manager, working within a team of 3, you will have specific responsibility for a portfolio of key clients:

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
• Day to day multiple customer management and contact
• Helping to devise multiple promo plans and in store activation (trade marketing)
• Management and input of promotions and tracking compliance
• Supporting building category stories to facilitate the listing of new SKUs and grow distribution of existing SKUs
• Tracking spend to ensure that we get best return and do not overspend
• Tracking business performance and making recommendations to improve performance
• Providing monthly multiple forecasts by customer for supply chain
• Managing and administering multiple customer performance reports
• Working with all business departments (customer services, planning, purchasing and production) to provide information required to fulfil Multiple customer orders
• Monitoring and reporting on future sales and marketing activity to help clarify operational support requirements
• Promoting and enabling the execution of “Commercial Best Practise” (promotions, pricing strategies, point of sale, product launches) across the B2B areas of the business.

Junior National Account Manager key skills and experience:
Ideally you will have a background including 1 or 2 years in an FMCG environment, or in a results-driven sales, marketing environment within FMCG and/or retail. The following competancies and behaviours are key to doing the job well, and are more vital than specific qualifications, but well developed Excel and Powerpoint skills, and experience in dealing with the retailers either from a sales point of view or from a supply/admin point of view (ideally exerience in managing Amazon) will be important tools in this role. Education to degree level is useful rather than essential but good networking ability with an existing network of relevant industry contacts is preferable.

Ideally you will be independent and resilient – happy working in a busy, fast-moving and complex environment, with the confidence to build trust, engage and influence senior stakeholders. A real foodie with natural curiosity and consumer focus and a keen eye for emerging trends will excel in this role.

Terms
• 40 hrs/wk i.e. 9am-5.30pm Mon-Fri (start and finish times flexible) with a 2 day/week office; 3 day/week WFH hybrid working model.
• Probationary period 3 months

• 10% KPI related bonus based around challenging but achievable tasks related to the role
