HR Administrator – Sandwich placement
Basic Salary – £22,380 pa.

Based onsite in Manchester City Centre. 12 month contract. This industrial placement is a paid internship, suitable for a current undergraduate student seeking to take a year in industry as part of their degree program between years 2 and 3. Start date, June to August 2024.

Highly organised and skilled at managing a varied workload, you’ll provide administrative support to our Employee Experience Team across our HR processes. You’ll have the opportunity to get involved in supporting our team at every stage in the employee lifecycle, but particularly in recruitment and employee engagement. You’ll assist in tracking candidates through the recruitment process from application to onboarding, ensuring our regulatory referencing process is fully complete and the process is welcoming to new joiners. You’ll consistently deliver high standards of administration, helping to ensure both current and prospective employees enjoy a high-quality experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing additional Administrative support to our Employee Experience team at all stages of the employee lifecycle.
  • Tracking candidate application status through the recruitment process, assisting with maintaining quality communications with candidates to support our Employer Brand.
  • Assisting with organisation of our employee engagement programme from co-ordinating volunteering days to wellbeing events and social activities
  • Embedding the implementation of our HR Systems Project, adjusting workflows to ensure high adoption rates.
  • Assisting in producing Employer Value content for our Social Media feeds.
  • Potential to get involved in Employee Relations and/or Payroll.
  • Ensuring all activities take place in accordance with our company value and customer charter, Data Protection principles, Consumer Duty and Compliance.

This role is for you if you have:

  • A desire to gain practical experience in HR as part of your Undergraduate degree studies. You must be a current student, preferably studying HR Management, seeking a year in Industry placement commencing Summer 2024.
  • The ability to work as part of a team and a positive attitude
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise daily workload
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
  • Good PC skills
