The Pulmonary Division of The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full-time
Credentialed Medical Assistant to join our clinic located in the Gateway district of NE Portland. Duties to include rooming patients, obtaining vitals, obtaining an accurate medication list, cleaning and stocking exam rooms, and assisting with
overall delivery of patient care in the department. Successful candidate will be personable, dependable, organized, detail oriented, strong at multi-tasking, and dedicated to high quality patient care. 
Starting
pay range, based on experience:  $16.00 - $20.00 per hour


 


Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.


 


PLUS a $500 hiring bonus to be awarded following 3 months in good standing! An additional $500 will be awarded at 6 months if candidate continues in good standing!
Must be credentialed at the time of hire.

Requirements



  • Minimum of 1 year prior experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
  • Certification through a national agency such as AAMA, NCCT, etc. required
  • Prior EMR experience strongly preferred
  • Fluency in a second language a plus
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting
  • Excellent prior work references
  • Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines
