Now, we need you to spread this transformative practice to organizations across the country (and the world!) so that they can become a force of positive change in their communities.
Director – Center for Open Hiring™
As our new director, your primary goal is to lead the way in the adoption and expansion of the Open Hiring™ model.
For 35 years, we’ve perfected our practice. Now, you’ll evaluate, define, and document our best practices, so that we can teach, mentor, and consult business leaders in their adoption of Open Hiring™.
You’ll build our knowledge base, putting practices on paper. You’ll make sure that we have the documentation, research, and content to support organizations in their implementation of Open Hiring™.
You’ll create the curriculum needed to train business leaders on how to implement the model in their own organizations. And, you’ll develop the materials needed to promote the model.
You’ll work closely with these organizations, serving as their touch point for all things Open Hiring™, navigating them through the process.
You’re passionate about sharing our mission, so you’ll love the opportunity to get out of the office and in front of executives and leadership teams to promote the model. You understand business, so you can speak their language. You know how to get our message across, no matter who’s in the audience.
You love networking – and you’re good at it! You’ll promote our vision, connect with organizations and build strategic partnerships.
Your creativity and persistence will be critical here. If something doesn’t work, you’ll pivot easily, and try new methods to appeal to, educate, and inspire stakeholders like business executives, social entrepreneurs, impact investors, policy advocates, scholars and more.

This is a full-time, permanent position working in our Yonkers office 75% of the time, and travelling 25% of the time (locally, nationally, and internationally). We work in a beautiful, historic mansion that is easily accessible by public transit, and walking distance from a train station. You’ll work Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with flexibility.

You’ll have 15 days paid vacation and 3 personal days.
