The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full time Credentialed Medical Assistant to join our Portland Gastroenterology clinic located in the Gateway district of NE Portland (near the MAX line). Duties to include
rooming patients, obtaining vitals, preparing patients for examination, assisting with procedures, collecting specimens, cleaning and stocking exam rooms, and assisting with overall delivery of patient care in the department. Successful candidate will be personable,
dependable, organized, detail oriented, strong at multi-tasking, and dedicated to high quality patient care.
Starting pay range, based on experience:  $16.00 - $20.00 per hour


Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.



PLUS a $500 hiring bonus to be awarded following 3 months in good standing! An additional $500 will be awarded at 6 months if candidate continues in good standing!
Must be credentialed at the time of hire.

  • At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred. New graduates with excellent externship/clinical references may be considered.
  • Must be Certified (through AAMA, NCCT, etc)
  • Current healthcare provider CPR certification required
  • Prior EMR experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting
  • Excellent prior work references
  • Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines
