The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full-time Float Supervisor to oversee the float pool. This position is a working supervisor and will also work in a variety of assignments and locations around the Portland area.
Candidates must willing to travel to NE Portland, SW Portland, Oregon City, Tualatin, and Gresham for work assignments. This is a regular, full-time position and NOT an on-call position. In addition to  performing general float duties such
as registration, scheduling, referral coordinating, medical records, this position
plans, organizes and directs all aspects of the Float Department including scheduling of the float staff to meet the needs of our clinics.
The Float Supervisor is the primary liaison between department staff and the supervisors of the specialty groups who utilize the Float Department.
Candidates must possess great customer service, communication, organizational, and computer skills. The ideal candidate will be a flexible, motivated self-starter with a great team focus.
Starting pay range, based on experience: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Requirements



  • Associates degree required; relevant experience may be substituted
  • Minimum of 1 year in a supervisor role or 2 years in a lead role required
  • Experience in a clinic or hospital lead role OR remote or multiple site supervisor experience preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a healthcare environment required
  • Experience working in a specialty clinic or float pool preferred
  • Knowledge of overall registration, insurance, and scheduling in a clinic setting
  • Experience leading and delegating project tasks preferred
  • Excellent attitude, great customer service skills, and flexibility
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to commute throughout the Portland Metro area
  • Strong motivation and work ethic
  • Strong customer service experience and skills
