This position is the primary Lead OMNI Order Management developer technical development resource. This position will work closely with internal and external business and technical resources to support delivering a top quality customer experience. The resource should be able to provide functional and technical options to meet business needs, leading successful system implementations and displaying strong technical and communications skill and adherence to standards. The resource will have to ensure that activities are delivered within agreed timelines, are of high quality and are fit for purpose. The individual will be requires to do hands on development of complex solutions, apply best practices, frameworks, and design practices that ensure a flexible solution across the entire OMNI OMS domain. This person must also be exceptional at communication and collaboration across multiple IT and business areas.
Duties and Responsibilities:
OMNI OMS Lead Developer is responsible for:
Take the technical lead on all order management and customer service systems development, configuration changes, modification and performance tuning projects.
Responsible for delivering key business functionality by working closely with business team, other development teams and infrastructure team members.
Design, develop, and implement highest-quality software application solutions using sterling order management.
Help develop and propose order management (sterling) centric processes, policies, and standards.
Participate in projects and provide cross-functional IT application support coordination on issues & design planning.
Participate in technical architecture design. Make recommendations that improve efficiency, minimize cost and support future business growth plans.
Help analyze, troubleshoot, and tune order management (sterling). Work closely with Infrastructure team to solve performance and production issues and provide permanent solutions.
Manage integration challenges between order management (sterling) and other applications.
Support the existing code base and provide defect resolutions, enhancements in the order management/customer service (sterling) space
Be available to support order management/customer service applications (sterling and other) and develop, consult, enhance integration points as necessary
Other duties as assigned.
