Administrative Assistant

Culinary Collective is an import and distribution company specializing in gourmet cultural foods that embody and promote their native culture and traditions. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated people’s person to join our team in our Lynnwood, WA office. A love of food, a desire to live consciously, and a sense of humor are absolutely required!


This is a part-time office position reporting to both the Logistics Manager and the Controller.  Our new team member will be involved in aspects of customer care, logistics, basic bookkeeping and various office duties including such activities as order processing, invoicing, shipping coordination, responding to customer inquiries, accounts receivable, cash posting, filing, etc.

Experience & Qualities desired

  • 5 years Office Administration or equivalent Bookkeeping experience required

  • Proficient data entry skills: strong/accurate keyboard and 10 key experience required

  • Intermediate-Advanced Excel skills required

  • Core computer experience required: Macintosh, Microsoft Office Suite, and accounting software (MYOB, Quickbooks or similar). Filemaker Pro, online CRM (customer service database) a plus.

  • Proven track record in Customer Care

  • Proven track record in distribution logistics

  • Experience creating and analyzing reports

  • Extreme attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work well by phone and email

  • Able to work independently with little supervision

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Interpersonal & communication skills - verbal, written, listening

  • Systems thinker with natural problem-solving abilities

  • Adaptable and flexible - in time management and in attitude

  • Initiative & self motivated

  • A team player willing to cross-train

Time Commitment & Compensation: This is a part-time position, M-F, 20-25 hours/week. Hourly at $20.00 to start, with profit sharing program, IRA matching, health/vision benefits, vacation, and sick time.
