Marketing Coordinator


 


Your goal in this position is simple – use your love and knowledge of marketing to spread our brand awareness and improve our community presence.


 


You’ll play an integral role on our team as you develop and execute marketing plans and strategies. You’ll be involved in creating social media content, developing and coordinating campaigns, and planning community events, and producing photographic and video web content.


 


No matter the medium – blogs, videos, photos, or testimonials – you’ll make sure we get our message across. You’ll take ownership of your projects, and execute flawlessly.


 


You’re a social media enthusiast, with an aptitude for understanding analytics. You understand that social media and consistency is a key component in building brand awareness. You’ll create new social media content daily and post on various platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.


 


You have a great attitude and are highly organized. You’re dynamic, and someone who works well in a team but also an independent thinker. You’re creative, strategic, and extremely comfortable living in the digital world.

Practically speaking, you will:


 



  • Create new content for web, print, promotional, and social media needs

  • Photograph products, events, and supplementary shots for campaigns

  • Plan, film, and edit informative and entertaining video content for social media and our website

  • Write and manage communications and promotional materials with press and other media

  • Plan & oversee the development of digital/video content for sharing on all social media platforms

  • Work with community groups to establish promotional partnerships

  • Plan, execute and host community events that reinforce Upstreet’s brand and presence in the community

  • Working with production team for rollouts and schedules

  • Update the company website, as well as other marketing and promotional material as needed


To succeed in this role, you’ll have excellent:


 



  • Technical skills – you’re great with a wide range of programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, and Lightroom.


  • Creativity – you have a knack for creating unique content that promotes the company’s vision, through photography and videography.

  • Organizational skills – you’re a pro at planning. You understand that productivity is all about efficiency and time management, and you always get the most out of your day.

  • Interpersonal skills – you’re great with people and work well in teams. You communicate your ideas effectively and implement feedback from others well.


 


Working @ Upstreet Craft Brewery


 


This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday, and some occasional weekend and evenings. We offer an attractive salary commensurate with experience, and a full benefits package and vacation.

Qualifications


 



  • Experience working in a marketing role



  • Content writing experience, e.g., blog posts, web content, marketing materials, newsletters

  • Experience with graphic design

  • Experience with photography

  • Experience working with social media (Facebook/Twitter/LinkedIn/Pinterest/Instagram)

  • Experience using video editing software such as Final Cut Pro or iMovie (asset)

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing
