The Oregon Clinic is currently seeking a full-time Communications Specialist to join our creative and strategic Marketing team working together to promote The Oregon Clinic brand and achieve excellence in our communication efforts. This position is our internal
and external communications specialist, writer, and intranet guru. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in communications and writing. They will be a tech-savvy, effective communicator able to respond to feedback, and meet deadlines from multiple
stakeholders. We are looking for a strategic, flexible, proactive self-starter to join a marketing team that values open communication, creativity, and teamwork.
Resume must include a link to portfolio of writing samples.



Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Writing articles, internal announcements, blog posts, social media posts and other internal and external communications aimed at a variety of audiences
  • Managing our intranet, including using intranet software to build and maintain intranet structure and content
  • Working with diverse stakeholders to ensure clear and relevant content and communications throughout the organization
  • Interview patients, providers and other stakeholders to gather content for stories written for TOC’s channels
  • Writing and editing SEO-friendly website copy
  • Producing creative and strategic solutions for marketing and communications



Starting pay range, based on experience: $24.81 - $29.19

Requirements



  • Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or other related field, relevant experience may be substituted
  • Stellar writing and communication skills
  • Excellent time management and reliability
  • 4+ years of prior experience in communications in an agency or corporate setting
  • Ability to start and complete projects independently
  • Strong technology skills, including website and some basic HTML
  • Experienced with PowerPoint and MS Office Programs, including Excel
