Position Overview

The B Corp Team Intern will be a high-impact team member, with opportunities to contribute to innovative projects while developing a broad set of skills, including research and data analysis, business development and community-building. In this role, you’ll gain experience in both the programmatic and analytical side of our work, moving frequently between creative, organizational and detail-oriented projects.

Potential Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities for Intern:

Advance B Corp Team initiatives through research, data analysis, project management (e.g. analyzing B Corp and prospect data from CRM system, identifying high priority conferences and biz activities, helping to onboard new Certified B Corps, developing presentation materials, etc.)

Manage inbound flow of new B Corp prospects by screening new B Impact Assessment users, researching ideal prospects, assigning to team members for follow up, etc.

Support management of B Corp programming, e.g. managing B Corp Ambassadors program including coordinating, tracking and communicating with B Corp participants and creating and managing the Ambassadors newsletter.

Assist with data management and tracking related to Certified B Corp and prospect engagement.

Support the B Corp community as needed including occasional event support and fielding requests from B Corp companies.

Perform general administrative office duties, including responding to external inquiries, ordering supplies, mailing packages, etc.

Qualifications

Enthusiastic interest in the social impact space and passionate about using the power of business to solve social and environmental problems.

Experienced in project management - has executed projects from start to finish, can manage complex and varying work streams with limited oversight.

Strong competency and experience in data management, analysis and research. Salesforce experience a plus.

Excellent communicator. Experience with writing newsletters, web content or similar a plus.

Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, effective at time management and detail-oriented.

Technically savvy; facility with Google Drive and other Google Apps; Salesforce, Eventbrite, and Pardot experience a plus.

Previous professional experience and general knowledge of business operations.Self-directed and highly motivated team player.

Most days won’t look the same, so a successful candidate will be flexible and have an aptitude for working in fast-paced environments.

Details

This is a paid internship at $12 - $14/hour, 40 hours/week, with a 9-12 month commitment beginning in January 2018. We value diversity and inclusion and encourage all qualified people to apply, no matter your gender, race, religion or sexual orientation.

Work hours are typically between 9AM – 5PM, but some flexibility is needed for occasional evening events.

The B Lab Colorado team office is located in downtown Denver with great access to public transportation. Flexibility to work from home once/week.
