Growing Local Company Seeks Brand Designer
Fully is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace dedicated to pursuing and hiring a diverse workforce.
We sell and design desks, chairs and things that keep your body moving so you can work and live more fully. We are excited to share we were named one of Oregon’s Top 100 Best Places to Work!
Our rapidly but mindfully growing company is seeking a Public Relations Manager at our headquarters in Portland, OR. Please read this ad thoroughly and know we do not accept resumes without the accompaniment of a cover letter. We want to get to know you a bit, so help us out!
A little about us:
We are proud to be a unique and diverse team. We are a quirky collection of creatives, nerds, yogis, dancers, foodies, climbers, cyclists, and movement fanatics. We expect all team members to simply, “come as you are” and we truly mean it.
We are people who don’t fit into boxes and don’t put up with cubicles. Our “open door” policy is more of a “no door” policy and we love sipping a beer on a Friday afternoon while busting a move to the office tunes. We like to talk to each other, share ideas, and collaborate, preferably over kombucha, happy hour, or a waterfront stroll.
We hire people we believe in and who are equally passionate about engaging in a progressive and active workplace. We are constantly moving, learning, and evolving both personally and professionally. Ultimately, we believe life is too short not to love where you work.
About this role:
In December of 2016, we rebranded from Ergo Depot to Fully. The idea behind Fully is simple: Movement is good. When you move, when you are fully in your body, you feel more present, engaged, and alive. This ethos shapes our company culture, inspires our product development, and is the basis of our brand communications.
Over the past year, we’ve come a long way. We’ve worked hard to keep things simple, helpful, and relatable. Present aspiration without being preachy or full of it. From our website to our blog, our storytelling is rooted in authenticity, where we draw upon real life experiences from our diverse staff, loyally engaged customers, and values-aligned community members. Unsurprisingly, this has resonated deeply with customers, and has led to considerable growth. So we are looking for a Brand Designer who is eager to join our growing team and shared mission.
A bit about you and what you’d be doing:
We are looking for a designer, a visual storyteller with a background in graphic design and photography. You have excellent taste that aligns with the clean and honest visual direction of the Fully brand. With a focus on the web and social media, you should be comfortable designing for both digital and print. Ideally, you also have interest and/or experience styling physical spaces for photography, video and events. The perfect candidate is confident in their POV, open and collaborative in receiving feedback, seeks personal growth and improvement, and embraces the mantra of One team--One dream. You’ll be working closely with our entire marketing team; our creative director, Jelly Helm; his Studio; and our amazing network of photo/video production partners. From time to time, you may also be working with our Product Development team to influence product design. We’re looking for someone who’s positive, flexible, collaborative, hardworking, detail-oriented, and accountable. This position reports directly to our Marketing Ops Manager who helps organize our priorities and facilitates creative production.
