About Pukka Herbs

Pukka Herbs create delicious organic herbal teas and incredible health supplements that take people on a journey of discovery to a healthier, happier life, benefiting people, plants and the planet. Pukka Herbs began 15 years ago and is the fastest growing herbal tea company and the 6th fastest growing grocery brand in the UK. Over a million cups of Pukka tea are drunk every day and Pukka’s teas and supplements are sold in over 40 countries across the globe.

We are experiencing phenomenal growth as millions more consumers enjoy our range of delicious teas and incredible supplements. We have a very exciting 5-year plan to help create a Pukka Planet benefitting people, plants and planet. To ensure we achieve our vision several significant leadership appointments have been made in the past 12 months, including key captains in the industry from Mars, Innocent, Pepsi, Warburton’s and Dyson.

About the role

As Commercial Manager you’ll align your activity with sales and marketing to develop implementable account strategies and plans with your overall aim to grow Pukka sales, profit and market share through your grocery multiple and online customers.

You’ll develop partnership account plans that inspire and engage our grocery customers to create positive step change, by increasing our range, space, off shelf feature, consumer activation, sustainability agenda and goals across in all account formats. By accurately forecasting and managing plan volumes and customer investment, you‘ll understand drivers for change and make adjustments and trade offs to ensure plan delivery.

You’ll have the opportunity to work in a challenging fast-paced role where you can be part of our journey of phenomenal growth, with the mission of creating positive change in the world. At Pukka you’ll develop the attitude, skills and behaviours so you can realise your full potential with the aim of developing into the Head of UK Sales in the next few years.

About you

A smart, commercially savvy and sparky intellect, you’ll be educated to degree level (ideally 2:1 and above) and preferably have work experience gained on a graduate scheme at a big FMCG. A strong track record which shows your ability to push your potential in national account management within a branded FMCG is needed and you’ll have top 4 FMCG grocery and online experience too. With a strong learning agility, you’ll be able to demonstrate impressive business achievements, a drive for results, and have delivered these in a collaborative manner.

You’ll communicate succinctly, with empathy, energy and passion, across verbal and written communications. Impressive functional technical skills across selling, presenting, negotiating and account management are essential, and you’ll couple this with a strong numerical and analytical ability. You’ll have experience of successfully leading JBP discussions and negotiations to reach a favourable conclusion.

Open to personal learning, you’ll be looking for a role where you can deliver in an ethical, sustainable and inspiring business to ultimately develop your own consciousness and realise your potential. You’ll be looking for the opportunity to move towards a company where you want to be part of a purposeful journey.
