Role Summary:

CTS is part of the Cascade Engineering Family of Companies. As part of our offerings CTS runs service centers that manage our customers’ installed container base on a daily basis. We are seeking a service-oriented employee to create consistency in our processes and be instrumental in service center launches and providing support to existing service centers for various operational reasons.  

The Service Center Project Specialist will work closely with our Service Center Sales Manager and our Field Services Coordinator to ensure CTS meets our contractual obligations to our customers. He or she will hire and train full-time personnel  to fill each required service center position, rent or lease trucks as necessary, purchase required tools and equipment, and create a culture that makes customer satisfaction our number one priority at the launch of each service center. This person will also support the team in other operational tasks and projects as required based on team and business needs.


Service Center Community Specialist General Responsibilities:

Reports directly to Field Services Coordinator

Will work closely with Service Center Sales Manager regarding all launches

Will travel full time as necessary to launch and establish service centers and provide support to other service centers

Working knowledge of, or ability to learn company procedures, software, etc. such as:

Service center pro forma

Scope of work for each service center

Hiring temporary labor

Truck rentals and leases

U.S. DOT regulations

Cascade Driving Policy

Cascade Vehicle Accident Report Form

Cascade Credit Card Policy

Cascade Credit Card Online Reporting

Cascade Expense Report

CartLogic Software

RouteSavvy Software

Microsoft Office software

Zubie software

Train all service center personnel at each position, including Crew Leaders, Drivers and Yard Workers.


Minimum Education, Experience, and Core Competency Requirements:

High school diploma/GED plus 5 years’ experience; or Associate Degree with 0-2 years in a related role

Outstanding Cascade Engineering Core Competencies (interpersonal skills such as trustworthiness, flexibility, focus on continuous improvement, servant leadership attitude)

Meets DOT requirements for non-CDL truck driving

Valid driver license and acceptable driving record per company insurance guidelines

Ability to perform frequent lifting

Strong problem solving skills

Good organizational skills

Good written, verbal, and digital communication skills


Preferred Education, Experience and Core Competency Requirements:

Associate's degree in business or related field

2-5 years of experience in related role
