The Assistant Product Manager will, with coaching, lead demand creation activities for select product groups within portfolio. This position will have responsibility for consumption/share performance for those product groups. This manager will translate ideas into strategy and features, and follow product development from start to finish.


MAJOR ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:  



  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates assigned products in the market

  • Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of assigned products to the sales team and lead development of the sales tools that support the selling process

  • Product launch – plan the launch of new products and manage the cross-functional implementation of launch and leverage plans

  • Market intelligence –via a combination of social listening, syndicated data analysis, and traditional consumer research, develop expertise on product and segment performance within VMS across retail and ecommerce channels;  develop expertise on VMS consumers, how they buy and their buying criteria; develop expertise on competition in assigned segments

  • Demand generation – develop and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for assigned products—influence messaging and spend priorities of retail, ecommerce, and dtc groups

  • Social Media—deliver New Chapter social media goals via strategy optimization, execution across channels, and analytics/tracking

EXPERIENCE,EDUCATION and CREDENTIALS:  



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field

  • Experience with managing and optimizing online marketing tactics with an emphasis on efficient spending to generate high ROI

  • Proficient in MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
