Systems Administrator job in Grants Pass

AllCare Health has a unique and rewarding position available for a seasoned IT expert to join us as a Systems Administrator in our IT Department.
AllCare Health is a southern Oregon-based health organization, led by local physicians since 1994. In a progressive model of care, we combine medical, dental, and behavioral health services to provide Medicare, Medicaid insurance coverage to our members. We also provide support to our providers through AllCare Independent Physician Association and AllCare e-Health Services

The Systems Administrator will be part of a close-knit team of IT infrastructure professionals who work with exciting, enterprise-class technology in order to bring secure, reliable, and scalable business solutions to both our inside employees and outside customers.

You will be conducting operations on high-end server, storage, network, and software technologies deployed at multiple sites, including Lenovo and HP server hosts, VMware vSphere clusters, IBM and Nimble system storage, a robust multipath Fibre Channel SAN infrastructure, Cisco, Brocade, and HP networking gear, and much more. Our ideal candidate will already have hands-on experience with many of these technologies, as well as familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange Server, IIS, SQL Server, Veeam Backup, and Zerto Virtual Replication.

Qualifications:
 Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
 3+ years of experience supporting Windows Server 2008 R2 and newer environments.
 Proficiency with Active Directory, IIS, SQL Server, Exchange Server.
 Experience working in enterprise virtualization environments, specifically VMware vSphere.
 Proficiency with Cisco and Brocade IP networking equipment.
 Experience with SAN, specifically Brocade and Lenovo Fibre Channel switching, is preferred.
 Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and troubleshoot in a fast-paced environment with minimal need for direct supervision while still meeting project and task deadlines.
 Industry certifications such as MCSA/MCSE, CCNA/CCNP, and VCP/VCAP/VCDX are an advantage.

Essential Duties:
 Installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, server software, networking devices, and systems storage (SAN).
 Monitoring resource usage, performance, and reliability; making proactive and reactive adjustments to maintain service quality and high availability.
 Assisting in evaluation, comparison, negotiation, and quoting for hardware and software purchases as well as contracts for service to support business needs.
 Performing root-cause troubleshooting and analysis of issues escalated from the Desktop Support and Development groups.
 Creating and maintaining internal documentation for team tasks and procedures.
 Performing management of user accounts, credentials, permissions, and building access.
 Managing data backups and restores; cataloging and storing on-site and off-site tape inventory.
 Participation in after-hours on-call rotation.
 Performing other duties as assigned.
