EDI Developer job in Grants Pass

AllCare Health is a physician led, community based, integrated health organization located in southern Oregon. We provide technical and administrative support to local healthcare providers and administer insurance coverage for the more than 50,000 members enrolled in various AllCare Health Medicaid and Medicare plans. Our IT Department is seeking a professional Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) developer to join our experienced IT team. The EDI Developer position is responsible for ETL processes, EDI element/segment mapping, OLAP data consolidation, and routine extracts and reporting processes for contract compliance. This position also supports back end data related development for custom business applications. Routinely works with ANSI X12 Health Plan EDI files (834, 835, 837, etc.) containing eligibility, remittance, and claims. Should possess database administration skills, knowledge of database normalization forms, and extensive query building skills. There is some flexibility in methods however C#, VB.net, SQL, and Crystal Reports are the typical languages and tools. Healthcare EDI or HL7 experience a big plus. Familiarity with HIPAA and secure data transmission protocols also very helpful.
