Position: Digital Account Sales Manager

The Digital Account Sales Manager will be a critical part of the Dogeared wholesales sales team responsible for developing long term relationships with the key online customers by optimizing our sales opportunities to hit sales objectives. They will be responsible for the growth of our online sales by managing Dogeared’s presence on each customers' eCommerce site and continually optimizing it for user experience, relevancy and revenue.


  • Leading existing relationships, driving incremental growth and building client trust

  • Owning a multi-million-dollar book of business.

  • Developing broader account strategy from inception through execution and optimization.

  • Project Managing execution as well as internal cross-functional communication

  • Monitoring performance and delivery against sales objectives.

  • Using data, trends, market insights, and logic to develop valuable, customized and strategic recommendations.

  • Leading account business reviews and goal-setting sessions both customer and internal.

  • Working cross functionally to implement plans to achieve sales goals.

  • Identifying opportunities and pathways for accounts and overall customer success.

  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Minimum of 5 years in sales or buying experience in the accessory, jewelry or handbags industry.

  • 8+ years’ experience in Client Services / Account Management in agency, ad-network or online retailer with focus selling on Amazon.

  • BA or BSc degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field.

  • Client/customer management experience (internal and external), including proven ability to handle multiple deliverables with tight deadlines.

  • Demonstrable ability to take ownership and accountability, and act on sales goals and objectives.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Flexible, team-oriented collaborator.

  • Self-starter capable of thriving in a startup environment – able to multi-task.

  • Understand and can build digital marketing optimization methodology.

  • Experience with online advertising management (ad serving) systems, self-service bidding systems, or online shopping engine systems.

  • Manage consumer display advertising campaigns utilizing the AWS.

  • Confident building relationships with internal stakeholders and utilizing these to manage a development outcome.

  • Possess a knowledge of technology and the online advertising & media landscape.

  • Smart, fun, outgoing and goal oriented.

  • Ability to effectively receive and communicate feedback.
