Located in NYC, we are looking for a B2B Business Development Associate to join our rapidly growing team and company. We are seeking a highly motivated, confident and driven candidate to prospect for and develop new clients, furthering our corporate client base. Candidates that are right for this position are self-starters with an unquenchable thirst for learning, an innate ability to adapt to any and all situations, a passion for problem solving and relationship building. Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as prior B2B sales experience are a must.
Work with the Ellevate Network Director of Corporate Partnerships to find, develop, and close new accounts
Assist in the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans, sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate and regional sales objectives.
Participate in account planning and lead follow-up
Develop marketing campaigns at the regional and national levels
Identify new revenue opportunities
Ensure client happiness and retention
Ensure client business objectives are being met
Liaison between our Global Chapters and Ellevate Network Headquarters
Represent Ellevate at industry conferences and events
Help run and coordinate local Ellevate events
Help a small, hands-on, team of smart and successful individuals on the day-to-day management of a global network

You are able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and feel energized when solving problems

4 year university degree
2+ years of B2B sales or partnerships, sponsorship, or business development
Excellent written, oral communications, and public speaking skills
Strong client services and problem solving skills
Solid organizational skills
Patient and professional demeanor
Must have a sense of urgency and excellent time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong sales and marketing acumen
Prior CRM experience a plus
Prior corporate experience a plus
Prior advertising sales experience a plus
Significant relationship building experience and a track record of successful collaboration
