KSV is looking for an analytics junior engineer to join our connections media/analytics team.

POSITION SUMMARY
The analytics junior engineer supports the analysis and data infrastructure work of the agency through the
architecture, automation and deployment of high quality multi-channel reporting deliverables. The role
supports the agency’s internal data lake, analytics tracking systems, and integration of client provided
data through the management of disparate data sets and the routines that help to automate reporting
needs.
Requirement: Experience with the R programming language is a requisite.
Responsibilities
 Assist in the management, engineering, and optimization of data processes to include reporting
systems, ETLs, and Data Lake processes
 Assist in reporting processes, ensuring data and reporting dashboards are available to both
internal and external stakeholders
 Help with the development and deployment of reporting dashboards.
 Collaborate across all internal teams to make sure data and reporting needs are identified and
addressed
 Assist in configuring sophisticated data analyses to include machine learning and Bayesian
modeling and assist in the delivery and interpretation of the outputs of these models
 Support the agency analytics manager and executive connections director in the continued
improvement of the agency data and analytics product
Competencies
 Computer Science, Information Systems, or Mathematics degree with an emphasis on
information systems or quantitative disciplines such as statistics, economics, or math
 In addition to requirement of experience with R programming language, Python knowledge is
preferred
 Experience with data engineering across multiple disparate forms (. csv’s, api’s, database tables,
Hadoop structures, etc.)
 Experience with ETL and/or other data warehousing functions
 Ability to work with stakeholders to produce reports to answer key client business questions
 Strong attention to detail and organization
 Competence in Google Analytics
 Familiarity with version control, Git preferred
 Experience with online advertising and overall integrated strategic media channel marketing is a
plus
 Ability and interest to work within many facets of data science from data engineering, statistical
data analysis, and data visualization/reporting
 Desire to work and grow as part of a team to contribute to the continuous improvement of
analytics and reporting at KSV
 Ability to communicate with to work/communicate with non-technical agency team members
regarding process and tools of the job
Must be authorized to work in the United States
